Thought of Element Present Atelier Element Present is a private art studio for people with Down syndrome . They are essentially all talented and the standard of work is excellent . We can plainly see how their spirits are expressed in their art works, the gentle harmonies liberating the senses. We have created an environment where artists with Down Syndrome can continue creating their works of art with their own rhythm, expanding in their hearts an energy that leads to good health and happiness. We wish to carry on this activity allowing the abundance and expressions from their hearts to continue to be known and seen to be useful and appreciated by society.
History of Atelier Element Present

		"Naiveté and Creativity" 1997		１９６９　　founded the Setagaya Print Workshop in Setagaya in Tokyo . 　　８０　　 opened “ Children's Atelier” in Shibuya in Tokyo and became acquainted with the mentally handicapped children 　　　９０　 founded the Atelier Elément Présent in Daio-cho, Shima-shi, Mie Prefecture 　　９３　　 April founded the Atelier Elément Présent in Tokyo ９３　　 the exhibition “Mysterious Paintings by Five Artists” at Gallery Bonnard in Ago-cho, Mie Prefecture 　９４ the exhibition “The Atelier Elément Présent” at Gallery Eikisha in Tokyo 　　９５　 the exhibition “The Artists of the Atelier Elément Présent” at Gallery Element Present in Daio-cho, Mie Prefecture 　９７　 collaborated with the exhibition “Naivité and Creativity: The Artists of the Atelier Elément Présent” at Kawasaki City Museum , Kanagawa Prefecture October published Picture Book “Chattering Picture Diary” from Poplar Publishing Co. Ltd. 　　９８　 September published the special issue of “Poetry and Thought” from Saturday Art Co.
